The prayer services and reflections that have been created for Advent 2005 have as a source the 2002 Chapter Insight, A Prophetic Call to a Quest for Justice.  As a follow up to a reading/reflection of the two background readings, the Congregation Leadership Team approved a weekly service for each of the four weeks of Advent.  These services follow a process of looking at the quest for justice from one's personal attitude, to seeing Mary as a model of prophetic justice, to an examination of the Magnificat as a creed of justice, and ultimately looking at one particular prophetic call to defend the rights of the child.
