Hail Mary……be with us today as we go about
our day imitating your simple, loving faith.
Full of grace…pray with us for God’s
gracious blessings upon us, our families, our community, our colleagues, our
students, and those to whom we minister.
The Lord is with you……and we believe the
Lord of love, forgiveness, peace, and of surprises, is also with us. We pray our
community is a place where the Lord dwells.
Blessed are you among women………with you,
Blessed Edmund, and the communion of saints we too can be blessed with a
faith-filled, simple “fiat.”
Blessed is the fruit of your womb Jesus…..whom
we attempt to bear to the world by being an open letter of love, asking your Son
to be born and live in our hearts this day.
Holy Mary, mother of God……our patroness, our
help throughout good and difficult times, pray for our Congregation and its
desire to liberate the poor.
Pray for us sinners…….pray that our
vulnerability, fragility, and brotherhood, through God’s unconditional love of
us, become His strength in the world. We ask you to pray with us for those we
may have hurt or failed to love. Pray that we may be the healing, teaching,
loving Christ this day.
Now and at the hour of our death……..When
that day comes, introduce us to your Son, to Edmund, the communion of saints,
our deceased brothers, family members, and friends, and speak on our behalf.
Amen.
