CHRISTIAN BROTHERS NORTH AMERICA NORTH AMERICAN ASSEMBLY JULY 2004
In response to invitations of Congregation Leadership, following on discussion among Tri-Province Leadership over recent years and most immediately in response to the call of the Congregation Chapter of 2002 to embrace with our hearts a reshaping of our structures,
We Christian Brothers of North America,
• having gathered in prayerful Assembly in 2002, with a call to engage the brothers in ongoing discernment,
• having reviewed our circumstances, our ministries and our prospects in regional and community gatherings,
• having gathered again in prayerful discernment in Assembly in July 2004 for discussion of our mission, our spirituality, our structures and relations with others who share Edmund's charism,
• and having there agreed to unite for mission in North America,
To dissolve no later than 2005 our current provinces in North America and to take the necessary steps to create one new province to unite us for mission in Edmund's charism in service to the Church and to the world.
All pictures used from Cornwall II were taken by Br. Thomas Collins.
