The story of the Congregation Chapter in March 2002 highlighted the value of breaking open the story of our lives and of sharing faith and listening to one another in faith. Through this searching and journeying together in openness to the Spirit, we are potentially led to new discoveries around our heart-centred spirituality.

This issue, HOBB Vol 8,  takes up some reflections on the topic of restructuring in which the Congregation is presently engaged.  For two weeks in July there were 180 Christian Brothers from all over North America attending Cornwall II.  Two years previously at Cornwall I the consensus was to establish a tri-province restructuring committee to move forward the question of a common future.  This gathering led to requesting the three province leadership teams to request the closing down of the present three provinces on July 1, 2005 and the establishment of one new province for North America on that same date.  All of this was done at the closing liturgy of the assembly in the presence of three members of the CLT, Congregation Leader Philip Pinto, and Dominic Sassi and Jack Mostyn.

The articles in this issue are from that meeting.  All pictures used from Cornwall II were taken by Br. Thomas Collins.

Picture above is of the banner that formed the backdrop in the chapel.
