D ear Brothers,
Last year I put together a list of all the men in our initial formation programs around the world. On that list, we included their birthdays, with the hope that we could then remember these men in our daily prayer as we do with the brothers of our individual provinces or regions.
As the year 2005 begins, I have updated the list of over 180 men in our initial formation programs, that is, those from our residential programs through those of annual vows.
This growth in the number of men in formation is a hopeful sign of the enduring quality and vision of Edmund Rice's charism today, internationally around the world. I feel the Lord is blessing us in a special way and we have much to be thankful for.
May this information be a source of wonder and excitement for you, as it is for me.
